Like a month later, I'm finally getting around to writing another review, and taking pictures for the next lot. I'm also scrapping the whole 'Reviews Thursday' thing, because that's not been working out. At all. So I'll just put up a review whenever suits. What was I talking about again? Oh yeah - Robots in Disguise legion Fix-It
So, Robots in Disguise. That's a show that is (was?) on TV, and I'll admit that I've enjoyed most of it. And the toy line is also a thing. Just looking at most of the figures, they seem rather underwhelming. But, I decided to pick up Fix-It because he looked pretty adorable. And he's definitely adorable, with lots of character
But let's start with his alternate mode, whatever it may be. In the show, Fix-It has never really displayed the ability to actually transform into anything. He's more of talking tool box on wheels. But, given that this is a Transformers toy line, he's got to become something, kind of like what Hasbro did with the Fallen in the Revenge of the Fallen line. And his alternate mode is certainly... Something

His alt. mode is some sort of mining machine, I want to say? I'm not really too sure. It doesn't really look like anything that actually exists. TFWiki lists is as a "drill-device-thing". Yeah. It rolls, which is always neat, but there's not much else to be said about it
The reason you buy this figure is for the robot mode, and boy, is it a great robot mode. Even if you don't like or have no interest in Robots in Disguise or Fix-It, there's no denying that this is a good robot mode. It's just so full of character! And look at that face, it's just too adorable. I mean, it's not exactly accurate, but for once that's a good thing

For a legion figure, this guy is really pose-able too! He's got a couple of swivels and hinges in his torso, as well as a ball jointed neck, shoulders, and elbows. And of course he can roll around on his wheels. Surprisingly, he balances really well, which is always a bonus
For weapons/hands, he has drills. They're permanently affixed to his arms - ie. you can't remove them and swap them for proper hands. I know he used them in the show a few times, so it makes sense for him to have them. And of course he needs them for his alt. mode to actually look like something. But man, I just wish he could have been made with some normal hands. It would have improved the look of this guy so much more

So final thoughts - I think this has been my shortest review yet - this guy is pretty fun, and adorable to boot. I don't know how much more I plan to delve into the Robots in Disguise line, if I delve any further at all, but I'm glad I picked this guy up when I saw him. He's definitely a fun little guy, as I said, and he does pretty well for his size class.
If you like the character, or even just small adorable things, he's worth picking up, but I wouldn't go hunting for him. Just if you catch him in the corner of your eye on the shelf while you're out
